Nintendo Banning Hackers from 3DS Online Play on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

It would seem Nintendo has found a way to detect and ban gamers playing pirated copies of 3DS games. Such users are receiving connectivity errors, and while they can still purchase and download new games and access the internet, all online connectivity within games and apps results in an error code.

Like with most industries, piracy is a concern in gaming, but those who purchase legitimate copies of their games should have nothing to fear from this move.
