Heroes Game was Planned for Wii on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

According to reports, a game based on the original Heroes TV series was in the works for multiple platforms.

Known as Heroes: The Video Game, the game was supposedly in development by the folks at High Voltage Software, shortly after the first series. The game would have starred a new female lead, with familiar faces from the show, and an all new storyline.

A prototype was worked on for Xbox 360 as the lead platform, with a version for Wii part of the line-up.

However, a month into development, management had ended the project - there just weren't enough resources. A decline in viewer ratings, particularly with the third series, ensured that the project remain cancelled.

WHY WAS IT NOT RELEASED?!? Best series of the 00's

The difference between illusion and reality is vague to the one who suffers from the former and questionable for the one suffering form the later.

Alphas was better ^_^
(well, actualy Heroes had better high points but also much deeper low points. Alphas was just consistantly "good").

Anyway, I have always thought a squad-based tbs would be fantastic for a Heroes/Xmen/Whateverpeoplewithpowers style game.
Using powers as a strategy element - not just direct combat - could be really interesting.

I wonder if this game will be...reborn

I think that depends on the popularity of season 5...
