Travel Across Parallax Layers in Poncho on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Publisher Rising Star Games has confirmed a new open-world puzzler for Wii U known as Poncho.

In development by Delve Interactive for STEAM, PS4, PS Vita and Wii U, the game sees players exploring the world by moving across different 3D parallax layers.

Poncho takes place in a world where humanity has been extinct for centuries, with the robot populous having to scurry about and fend for themselves within their own tribes/communities. However, "The Maker" is out there...

There aren't any levels in Poncho, either, as players awake in the centre and decide which direction to take, with multiple paths and areas to explore that "you'll never be able to see everything in a single play through."

"A wall is blocking your path? You can go in front it. There's treasure off in the background, far away In the distance? You can go there at the touch of a button."

What do you think of the Poncho concept?
