Indie 2D platformers Super Cucumber and Down the Drain will be heading to Wii U after a successful Kickstarter campaign.
Originally a small student project, Super Cucumber, is inspired by 2D platfomers of the past, with slices of more modern convention. The game follows an aardvark super hero as he takes on the creators of seven mysterious towers. Run, jump, punch and unleash fireballs as part of challenging, side-scrolling 2D levels. Just who is the mastermind lurking in the shadows, though?
Down the Drain, however, follows Marta on her journey to find out what lurks inside our pipes - inspired, literally, by drains as developer Lorraine cleaned her bathroom sink.
The group behind the projects, Cubicorn Games, also have an alpha demo to download for those who which to sample a slice of Super Cucumber, and a demo to dive Down the Drain.
What do you think of the Super Cucumber and Down the Drain concepts?
