Nintendo will be bringing a range of games to Wondercon this week, including hands-on time with Splatoon and Xenoblade Chronicles 3D.

From 3rd April to 5th April inclusive, attendees will be able to try out a wide range of Nintendo 3DS and Wii U titles, plus take part in the first of several amiibo tournaments.

To enter the tournaments, players will simply need to bring their trained figures to the Nintendo booth to compete in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS or Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - on a first come, first served basis. Winners will take home a variety of different amiibo figures, with the first-place winners grabbing hold of the limited edition Gold Mario amiibo.

amiibo tournaments will take place Friday, April 3, at 2 pm and 5pm, April 4 at 11 am and 4 pm, and April 5 at 11:30 am and 3:30 pm.

Playable games include:

  • Splatoon (Wii U)
  • Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. (Nintendo 3DS)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D (Nintendo 3DS)
  • Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition (Nintendo 3DS)
  • Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (Nintendo 3DS)
