New Yarn Yoshi Amiibo to Launch with Yoshi's Woolly World

In tonight's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that a new series of amiibo would be released with Yoshi's forthcoming title, Yoshi's Woolly World, on 26 June in Europe, and in Fall in North America.

The amiibo are going to be quite unique, as they will be made out of yarn to go with the soft and knitted theme of the game in question, which will be an interesting contrast to the usual plastic amiibo, and will stand out quite a bit in the ever growing amiibo collection.

These soft and woolly Yoshi amiibo will come in three colours: green, light blue and pink.
