Two Sides Clash in New 3DS Fire Emblem

"What if hatred could be conquered?" Asks the Fire Emblem 3DS trailer, as revealed in tonight's Nintendo Direct presentation.

The game features two kingdoms at crossroads of war and peace - the prosperous Hoshido, versus the glory seeking Nohr. The debut glimpse at the game showcases some of the gameplay snippets, plus one of the lead characters in the game: a child born to the Hoshido royal family, but raised in the contrasting Nohr.

"Is your fate bound by loyalty? You can only chose one path," concludes the action-packed sequence.

The new game is primed for release in 2016.
