More Mario Kart 8 200cc Speed Comparisions

200cc is coming and Nintendo have posted more comparison footage, with piranha plants chomping past in high speed.

With an update for Mario Kart 8 planned for later this month, folk will be able to tear up tarmac at the highest possible speed to date. Traditionally, the Mario Kart series has been capped at 150cc as the maximum pace, but Nintendo want to take things even further - with the newer 200cc class allowing for new shortcuts and an even greater challenge with friends.

The new snippet of gameplay is for Piranha Plant Pipeway, highlighting the large difference in lap times as players step it up a notch.
