Nintendo Seeking Opportunity to Restock amiibo

Nintendo have issued a statement to fans about the current amiibo shortage situation.

Nintendo of America thanked fans on Facebook for continued support for the much sought-after characters and acknowledged how "frustrating it can be at times if consumers are unable to find certain figures." Going forward, Nintendo are aiming to "do our best to prevent" demand outpacing supply for certain, popular characters. 

The company are also looking for "opportunity to reissue amiibo and are already making plans to bring back some currently out-of-stock amiibo figures."
