Free Yooka-Laylee DLC with New Stretch Goal on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Playtonic has launched another stretch goal for upcoming 3D platformer Yooka-Laylee.

Pitched as a spiritual successor to the Banjo-Kazooie games, well, the first two titles - Yooka-Laylee is in development for multiple platforms including Nintendo Wii U. The team are currently rallying in funds in a Kickstarter campaign, and after successfully blitzing through the initial and extra targets, have set a further goal - £2,000,000.

If this particular tier is hit, the team will be providing the first batch of DLC to backers for free.

The DLC material will only be worked on post-launch, however, and all additional funding will go to improving the game.
