Next Bravely Game May Not be a Sequel on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The next chapter in the Bravely RPG series from Square Enix may not necessarily be a sequel.

The studio have devised two titles so far, Bravely Default and Bravely Second, both of which were connected through characters and plot points. However, a third entry in the series may not be a straightforward sequel according to producer Tomoya Asano.

Assistant producer Shinji Takahashi added, "We're thinking about all kinds of things, like what kind of things are requested, and getting feedback from fans."

Asano also noted how Bravely Second won't be getting additional DLC scenarios or a "For the Sequel"-styled extended version. At the moment, the team are looking into the Western version of Bravely Second.

Would you liek to see the series continue, or take a completely different direction?
