Koji Igarashi's Castlevania-inspired Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has officially got a Wii U stretch goal.
Previously hinted at, and then speculated about after the previous Stretch Goals were unveiled, the team at Inti Creates has now revealed that a version of the exciting 2D adventure will be developed for Nintendo's current home console, with renowned porting experts Armature Studio handling the Wii U edition.
Originally formed with key Metroid Prime developers, Armature has successfully delivered solid ports in the past, including Metal Gear Solid Collection and Injustice for PS Vita, as well as Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for PS4 and Xbox One, along with the duo of Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate on 3DS and the updated Wii U iteration. With extensive knowledge of Nintendo hardware, Armature was asked to take on the port of Bloodstained for Wii U and accepted the challenge.
Inti Creates notes that it is early days, but more information will be shared about the Wii U edition once the stretch goal target of $3 million is reached.
