How Splatoon's Frame-rate Holds Up

By Jorge Ba-oh 03.06.2015

How Splatoon

The folk at DigitalFoundry have taken Splatoon for a spin to see how the game's frame-rate holds up.

The Wii U shooter from Nintendo is bursting with bright, bold visuals and energetic gameplay. One of the draws of the game is just the pace of online multiplayer, and the need to maintain solid performance to nab those last-minute points.

In the test, DigitalFoundry notes how the game flows along at 30fps whilst in the Inkopolis hub, whilst stepping up to a consistent 60fps whilst going at it online with others in Turf War.
