Wield an Inkbrush in Splatoon Weapon DLC on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo will include another new weapon to the Splatoon mix this week: The Inkbrush.

To be available on 6th July in the UK (3AM) and Europe (4AM) and 5th July in North America (7PM PT / 10PM ET), the weapon seems to be a variation on the roller mechanic, with the ability to wield it horizontally to really splat foes in the face. Owch!

This looks kind of cool, a bit like the roller, but better at short range defense maybe. Looking forward to trying it out.

My favourite weapon is still the basic Splattershot Jr, it's great for covering ground, and I save the bubble for whenever I need to get offensive. I am trying to get better at using some of the higher level weapons though, since I think with some practice they probably are better overall.
