Super Smash Bros. Returns to Dream Land on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

A new downloadable stage has been announced for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

Dream Land originally appeared on the original Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 64, and is available now on the latest installment of the fighting franchise.

The stage consists of three platforms with Whispy Woods in the background, occasionally blowing strong gusts of wind in an attempt to knock players out of the arena.

Eagle-eyed players may also be able to spot Bronto Burt and King Dedede (provided he's not in the fight itself) flying around in the background of the stage.

Dream Land (64) is available on both versions of the game priced at £1.79 each or as a bundle for £2.69.

Sakurai has also announced that further original Super Smash Bros. stages will be created for the game, including Hyrule Castle (64) and Peach's Castle (64).

Hyrule Castle is definitely worth £2.69. But man, there really needs to be a season pass for this content. E.g. £6.99 for all classic Smash stages, or something like that.

The £19.99 Character bundle #2 is pricey.
