Hell is Bound to Come in Spring 2016 - Bethesda Reveals Doom at E3 on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

After 11 years, a complete development restart from Bethesda Softworks in 2011, and the recent short-and-sweet teaser trailer, id Software's flagship franchise is finally revealed at this year's E3, with a gameplay trailer that shows Doom's return to its brutal, adrenaline-pumping roots. Monsters get executed by a far more aggressive "Doomguy", until a new and improved Revenant appears to give him a taste of Hell.

Furthermore, a sneak peak showcasing the game's multiplayer mode has been revealed, along with two gameplay videos; the first taking place in a typical sci-fi base setting, and the second one offering a short trip into a hellish dimension, where the curtain falls with the hero charging up a BFG shot aimed at what appears to be a Cyberdemon.
