Microsoft E3 Summary on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Microsoft had plenty of news and updates to give at E3 for their Xbox One console. For all those that missed it amongst everything else going on, read the quick summary of all the details below:

- Halo 5: Guardians was revealed. The game will include a massive 24 player multiplayer mode known as Warzone.

- Forza Motorsport 6 was also shown and features a Ford GT supercar.

- An Xbox One exclusive called ReCore is being made by Microsoft, in partnership with other designers that worked on the Metroid Prime franchise.

- Rare is bringing a plethora of its classic games together into one package, including classics such as Banjo Kazooie and Perfect Dark.

- Game Preview was announced. A concept borrowed from PC gaming that allows players to access early versions of games.

- Backwards Compatibility was announced for Xbox 360 games! The service will be free, but will not feature every 360 game (Microsoft are aiming for a solid 100 at launch, with more to come).

- Other exclusive Xbox One titles include: Ashen (an action RPG), Cuphead (A run-and-gun platformer with co-op available), Fable Legends (free-to-play action RPG), Gears of War: Ultimate Edition (a remake of the original in with new content), Gears of War 4, Gigantic (free-to-play shooter), Sea of Thieves (Rare's new pirate themed game).

- Timed exclusives were also announced (Beyond Eyes, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Tacoma), along with several mutilplatform titles.

- Several smaller pieces of news were announced, including a premium controller for those willing to splash out.
