Aggressive Approach to Splatoon Updates on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The team behind Wii U shooter Splatoon spoke to Nintendo Dream about plans for more downloadable content.

In an interview with the magazine, the game's directors Yusuke Amano and Tsubasa Sakaguchi, joined by producer Hisashi Nogami, discussed the game's progress so far, and how well the DLC has fared with fans.

Nogami feels that there is "still more to be done to maintain customers' interest and to prevent them from getting tired," with the team wanting to "pile up content with updates from the start."

Amano highlighted how "everyone has leveled up faster than we expected and played the game immensely" and if Nintendo would pile up content, they'll do it "with an aggressive approach."

The next big Splatoon update is expected this August, adding new modes and online party options.
