SEGA Announces 7th Dragon III Code: VFD for 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

SEGA has announced a continuation of its RPG series 7th Dragon for Nintendo 3DS.

7th Dragon III Code: VFD will be arriving in Japan this year on October 15th for 5,990 yen, with previous games in the franchise having been released on Nintendo DS and PSP.

Working on the game is Shirow Miwa as character designer, Yuzo Koshiro as sound composer, and the main theme song comes from Sasakure UK.

According to Famitsu magazine, this could be the last entry in the series, which takes place in the past, present and future. Eight jobs and 32 different appearances for the main character can be chosen - the most in the series to date - and the jobs are spread out across the past, present and future settings. There are more than 40 types of battle voices.

A NicoNico live stream scheduled for 7pm Japan local time on July 4th looks to cover more details about the game.

The Japanese teaser website can now also be checked out.
