Fresh Dragon Quest VIII Screenshots

Square Enix have released a set of striking new screenshots from Dragon Quest VIII for 3DS.

The 3DS remake has tweaked visuals, additional content, monsters and much more. The latest snaps for the portable remake showcase a few more details on the Skill Master System, where players and distribute skill points earned after battle to learn new abilities.

There's also a glimpse at what Red, a female thief not playable in the original PS2 edition, can do - including "Folding Fan" and "Twin Wave."

Dragon Quest VIII is out on Nintendo 3DS on 27th August in Japan.
