The latest episode of Imagine-Nation on NHK World in Japan covered an extensive feature on upcoming arcade brawler, Pokkén Tournament.
The show detailed a tonne of battles between characters, including Lucario and Nintendo's iconic electric mouse, Pikachu. There were also interviews with The Pokémon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara and Namco's Katsuhiro Harada, as the pair highlighted that the game was designed for "those who grew up playing Pokémon, rather than target just children."
"The possibility definitely exists," teased Ishihara when asked about a potential Western release for Pokkén Tournament. "We want to show people different kinds of Pokémon characters that they can actually use."
The show can be watched until 14th July on the NHK World Website.
