Mario & Sonic to Compete in the Arcades on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games will be heading to the arcades, alongside Wii U and 3DS.

The latest installment of the popular cross-over sporting game will see a standard release on console and handheld, however will also be made available on arcade units. SEGA will be testing out the concept with the public this week at the Club SEGA Akihabara and SEGA World Kasa between 17th and 20th July.

A full release date has yet to be announced, nor if the project will be localised for the Western market.

Do you think Mario & Sonic can work in the ol' coin-op setting?
