KOEI Tecmo's PC port of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, which was released in March of 2015, dissapointed fans of the series by being technically inferior to the PS4/Xbox One version, and, most importantly, by not having an Online Mode, which is not exactly a small flaw for a modern fighting title.
The Japanese developer made comments about the promised addition of that feature, which was bound to come in June, saying that "We apologize for the last minute notification and regret deeply the trouble we have caused our Steam customers who were looking forward to the online functionality. We will update the website with a new release date as soon as it is set."
