Record Custom SFX in Super Mario Maker on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Platforming fans can rustle up their own sound effects and music blocks in Super Mario Maker.

With just weeks to go before the game launches on Wii U, Nintendo have shared more tasty morsels from the vast number of options available to play with in Super Mario Maker.

Alongside a tileset that spans generations of side-scrolling Mario games, comes the option to create custom sound effects by recording a quick snippet into the GamePad microphone. Let the ol' fart noises begin!

There'll also be the option to scatter a set of "Music Block" tiles across stages, each one bursting out a musical note based on their height, for some interesting twists on the regular Mario soundscape. Finally, Nintendo confirmed that more than 50 amiibo will be available, plus daily unlockable tools when playing the game from scratch to ease creators into the experience gently.

I actually think so. This is pretty much a game I have wanted since I was a child.

I still find it cheap though if they do not include a way to make own music tracks.. Even Wario Ware D.I.Y. and Mario Paint had that feature

The difference between illusion and reality is vague to the one who suffers from the former and questionable for the one suffering form the later.

Here come the fart sounds!
