Minecraft Coming to Wii U but in a Different Form

Popular sandbox game Minecraft will be gracing Nintendo Wii U, however with a more traditional narrative.

Telltale Games are working on the license, putting their experience with adventure games to good use with a new concept called Minecraft: Story Mode, an episodic series that'll debut this year. As well as already confirmed platforms - Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, PC, Mac, Android, and iOS, the game will also be coming to Wii U in a bid to introduce a wider audience to the immensely popular franchise.

The team are aiming to tell a story within the Minecraft universe and not necessarily "the story," according to an intervie with Job Stauffer, director of creative communications at Telltale.
