Microsoft Prepares Bundles For Crucial Christmas Period on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Microsoft is readying new Xbox One console bundles in preparation for a crucial Christmas which sees the US giants attempt to catch up Sony, with Forbes reporting that the PS4 outsold the Xbox One 2-1 last quarter

Announced yesterday, gamers will be be able to pick up the Xbox One Fallout 4 Limited Edition bundle (£369.99) which comes with a 1TB Xbox One and controller and a download of Fallout 4. This package deal coincides with the release of Bethesda's latest addition to the Fallout franchise on November 10th, exclusive to GAME stores across the UK.

If post-apocalyptic RPGs aren't your thing, then Microsoft is also releasing an Xbox One Kinect bundle (£399.99) including a 500GB console and controller, Kinect, and downloads for Kinect Sports Rivals, Dance Central Spotlight, and Zoo Tycoon. This deal will be released on October 19th and will be available at most retailers across the country.

Other, already announced, incoming bundles include: Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition bundle (£399.99), Xbox One Elite bundle (£399.99), Forza Motorsport 6 bundle (£369.99), FIFA 16 bundle (£309.99), Gears of War: Ultimate Edition bundle (£309.99).

Will you be picking up an Xbox One this Holiday season? What can Microsoft do to catch Sony?

There was recently over in Belgium a €299 bundle with Fifa 16. The same bundle for the PS4 was €379 on the other hand.

It's strange because the Xbox One has consistently undercut the PS4 in its pricing and bundles but the PS4 launched with such momentum and it hasn't let up yet. Sony can, and will, charge more but because of the buzz around it the PS4 just keeps selling and selling.

You can cut the price all you want - the better console will always outsell the other. PS4 is the better console.

What is it that's propelling PS4? I've not seen a game on it that I'm particuarly keen for, though FFVII may just tip me over the edge!

I would ask that question of all three major home consoles, to be honest! I've not seen anything new or genre redefining just yet and we're excited about older games being re-released which is a worrying sign!

I think that people are still burning Microsoft for "TV" "always must be connected to the internet" and "DRM" , despite all of these things really being rectified it seems that Microsofts arrogance at the time really swayed many people over to a PS4.

If I was living in the UK I would have chose a PS4 over a XB1. Why? I honestly don't know...

To be fair I still think that Nintendo properties have me by the balls, the Wii U would still be my number one choice when it comes to the exclusives but the PS4 is so slick, how could you resist!
