Listen to a Yooka-Laylee Soundtrack Teaser

Want to hear a snippet of Yooka-Laylee? IGN have shared a brief track from the first world of the game.

The ambitious 3D platformer is brimming with nostalgia, with previous Rare staffers involved in bringing the new world to life on multiple consoles. One of the team is Grant Kirkhope, composer for the project and the musical mastermind behind behind the likes of Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie, GoldenEye 007 and Viva Pinata.

Speaking to IGN, Kirkhope said, "Honestly I don't mind what people hear when they listen as long as they like it! I think once people know what the different variations of the music were written for it'll all fall into place (at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it!)."
