Final Smash Bros. Direct Will Air on 15th December on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Ahead of the festive season, Nintendo have a treat in store for Super Smash Bros. fans with a broadcast set for 15th December.

After announcing Cloud for Super Smash Bros. last month and the closing of the fan ballot for new characters, the community has been craving news of when new content would become available for the game.

Alongside the Final Fantasy VII star will be at least one additional character that's been voted in by the fans, but who...?


 

The presentation is set to air at 11pm CET / 10pm GMT /  2pm PST / 5pm ET, and is set to be the final stream that's purely dedicated to the latest Super Smash Bros. games.

I reckon it's going to be someone completely random. People are hoping for Banjo, Steve, Bomberman, snake, Simon Belmont, shovel knight, Issac, Layton, Pheonix Wright, Rayman, Dixie or Cranky Kong, Krystal and even President Lincoln. However it's going to be someone that we just won't expect, perhaps Paper Mario, Pushmo or even Naruto.

Funnily enough I'd be happy with any of those making it in.

If Snake comes back, I want them to make up their minds about who he is. He had Big Boss' look, but was called Solid Snake in Brawl. Solid has never had gruff like that on his face, save for a bit of a 'tache in MGS4. It would be in keeping with the times (after the launch of MGS5) to release Big Boss, but I do like the Solid of MGS1 and 2.
