Final Fantasy XV Has Two Battle Modes on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Final Fantasy XV will have two battle modes, depending on what combat style suits you.

Lead game designer Takizawa Masashi spoke about the different battles modes available, how Final Fantasy XV will include "a system where you can switch between different battle modes", to make sure that the game is catered towards "both players who like action oriented, technical gameplay and also those who want to fight at a slower, more relaxed pace can all enjoy the combat in their own style."

The reason Square Enix are serving up a choice in style is based on the feedback from the Episode Duscae demo.

The battle system will also incorporate a teleport ability, to be able to warp to high up locations - including "aerial battles with flying foes and gigantic boss enemies," teased Lead Level Designer Terada Takefumi.
