Nintendo has announced a brand new console launching this November...the NES!
No, this isn't a retro post from 1985. Nintendo has announced a new NES console, the "NES Classic Edition" (known as the "Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System" in Europe). Shipping out this November for $60, it will feature HDMI output and 30 built in games.
The 30 games included are:
The system will come with one controller, with additional controllers available for $10 each.
You might notice that the controller ports on the NES Classic Edition look a little familiar. That's because they are the same as featured on Wii Remotes. As such, they can be plugged into the bottom of a Wii Remote for use on NES Virtual Console games on Wii U. Wii Classic Controllers or Classic Controller Pros can also be plugged in and used as controllers on the new system.
