Fire Emblem Heroes Detailed for Mobile on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

In today's Nintendo Direct focusing on Fire Emblem, Nintendo detailed lots more of what to expect in its upcoming mobile title, Fire Emblem Heroes.

Releasing on 2nd February for Android and iOS devices, this new entry into the franchise sees a multitude of characters from Fire Emblem titles coming together to do battle. Some will become your allies, whilst others will end up on the opposite army and wage war against you.

Playing much like previous Fire Emblem games, Fire Emblem Heroes is designed around touch screen use, and features simple touch and drag controls that make it easy for anybody to play. Just drag your character over an enemy sprite to do battle with it. The maps have been scaled to bite-size portions to fit nicely onto smartphones, and all characters have received brand-new artwork and newly-recorded lines.
