News: Introducing Super Rare Originals, a new indie-first publishing label on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Super Rare Games, one of the world's leading physical games publishers, is incredibly proud to announce its brand new, all original publishing label, Super Rare Originals!

Super Rare Games is historically best known for their line-up of physical Switch games, which they release one of roughly every 3 weeks exclusively through their online store. Their mission statement has always been about supporting talented indies of all scales, which they see this as the natural expansion of. 


 
They have worked with 100s of developers across the last 4 years and have stated that they want to support talented indie devs long-term and hopefully help to start changing the industry to be more developer focused. Super Rare have been known to only sign games that they are genuinely, personally passionate about. They are there working with the community to help change the lives of devs.

Super Rare has put into place numerous talent acquisitions with some recent hires, including Curve Digital founder Jason Perkins and Supermassive Games producer Tom King. Together with their internal QA team, and existing core team spells an exciting time for the company. 

A whole host of incredible games have already signed for the indie-first consoles + PC digital label, and Super Rare announced five of them today, including Grapple Dog, Post Void, The Gecko Gods, Lone Ruin and Completely Stretchy.
