After months of select, slightly grainy images of the next Zelda adventure being shown around the Internet, Nintendo have released a more impressive selection of very eye catching scenes from what's said to be "Twilight Princess".
Many of the screens play close-up to Link's face, with various different stances to reaffirm that he is indeed a poser. The amount of detail present in terms of the textures, lighting and notably skin tones in the on-screen characters certainly bring a sense of life and reality to a fantasy story. Coinciding with the current subtitle for the game, Nintendo have included some gorgeous images of control of a wolf in action with an even more so bizarre creature resting on its back.
The night-time scenario seems to play a heavy part in the title, with the disturbing creatures appearing when the light falls, perhaps the most gruesome and sickening beasts since Ocarina of Time. One negative aspect perhaps is the environmental textures for they don't appear as sharp or as considered maybe as the characters and usable objects. That said there isn't long to wait for released footage of the final build in action and moving which will more than likely be superb.
The screens are available to view in the album below.
Stick with C3 for more E3 2005 coverage and a hands-on report of this very anticipated title.
