Worms 3
Game Data

“Ditching 2D, Team 17 and Worms 3 are squirming their way into the world of three dimensions for this next in popular series. The title will retain the tried, tested and loved central turn-based gameplay of predecessors, upping the ante with not just 3D characters and environments, but also plenty of new firepower. Steer-able, 3D super-sheep anyone?
Unless you own a GBA, there'll be nowhere to run to escape the Worms 3 advance.
Team 17 is developing the third in the franchise for GameCube, and the invasion is set to commence toward the end of the year. “

My Views

Worms has always been one of my favourite games ever. Some off the weapons that were involved were very fun. And sometimes the battles would last a couple of hours as you dug into the senery! It will be interesting to see how bits of the world disapear as they are blown up with the weapons. And I would love a create your own Worms/team option. That would be so funny giving your worms baseball hats, or boxing gloves.
Also other options which could be fun would to be create your own terrain!

In the long run I feel that this jump from 3D to 2D looks very impressive. And I am waiting in anticpation for it. Hopefully we will see more at E3! Fingers crossed!

In the meantime, enjoy the latest screenshots, which you can find below.
