UK Chart Highlights XL... ...Summer Surprises For Nintendo *Tumble-weed passes by* The summer period is generally one that drags and drags for those in the gaming world as companies do not seem to release that many games. But has this managed to work to Nintendo's advantage thanks to special Summer Sales in-stores? Slow period... Cricket mania is still sweeping the UK, with Brian Lara at No.1 again, although Madagascar (No.2) and Fantastic 4 (No.3) are hot on its heels. Juiced squeezes up four to No.4, ahead of EA's Cricket 2005 holding at No.5 and San Andreas, up three to No.7. Worms 4 rockets up seven to No.10 as word-of-mouth travels and the football season starting helps push Sega's Football Manager 2005 up a mammoth nineteen places to No.16! In what proves to be a rather static chart this week, The Sims 2 falling twelve to No.23 is a sad highlight of the movement. With Nintendo entries few and far between, all eyes will be on nintendogs later this year to revive the company's British fortunes. Crash & Spyro Super Pack Vol.2 on the GBA slips two to No.26, Super Mario 64 DS is actually up a place to No.31 and there is a pleasant surprise in the re-entry at No.40
