Everyone's just sitting back and waiting for the tornado that will be Zelda: The Wind Waker. SEGA will be hoping for a bit of luck with its Rally Championship GBA game, but since its fortunes on the handheld, bar Sonic, have been very low, it would be highly surprising if it sold in vast quantities. The Sims creeps back up a place to No.2, the heavily marketed Primal holds at No.4, Potter-madness due to the DVD film release has sky-rocketed the wizard's game up eight to No.6 and two new entries round off the Top Ten: Vietcong at No.9 on the PC and all-formats X-Men 2 in at a rather low (considering it is on every system) No.10. People have donned their dancing shoes once more, propelling the Party Edition of Konami's BeMani game up to No.11, whilst Zelda on the GBA tumbles five to No.16, PS2 Devil May Cry 2 nose-dives to No.17 and the PC's Freelancer 'free-falls' from No.7 to No.20! Sonic Advance 2 drops just a couple of places to No.25 this week, whilst Konami's popular Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise notches up another victory as the GBA title slams home at a respectable (for a GBA game) No.27. Poor Metroid Prime drops eleven to No.33, but will surely rebound slightly next week thanks to it winning an award at the Games Stars event last Sunday. Crash's second GBA game falls six to No.37, and another Yu-Gi-Oh! title, this time Forbidden Memories, re-enters at No.39. The cheapness of Smash Bros has helped it move back up to No.4 and Mario sunny platform adventure is close behind at No.5. Interest in the GC Star Wars games was rekindled a couple of weeks back, and they're still going strong - Bounty Hunter climbs three to No.6 and Clone Wars holds at No.11. There are a few new entries this week, with the long-awaited Conflict: Desert Storm in at No.9 and X-Men 2 at No.10. The latter should stick around since the film is due out soon...There's only two other matters worthy of note: Finally the Players' Choice is being noticed by the public (no thanks to Nintendo's complete lack of advertising...AGAIN!), and Luigi's Mansion re-enters at No.12...although Pikmin is currently being unfairly over-looked. Oh, and Sonic Mega Collection loses its legs and careers from No.7 to No.19![pagebreak][u]TOP 20 NINTENDO GAMEBOY ADVANCE WEEK 16 YEAR 2003 ENDING 19TH APRIL LW TW TITLE PUBLISHER (1) 1 ZELDA 3 - LINK TO THE PAST NINTENDO (2) 2 SONIC ADVANCE 2 SEGA (N) 3 YU-GI-OH! Yet pap like Crash Bandicoot 2 is still up in the Top Five at No.4! What is wrong with the gaming public today?! Huh...Anyway, Zelda is still No.1 and Sonic Advance 2 is No.2, but Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition crashes in at No.3 and certainly won't go away without a fight. Ron Weasly and his sweaty palms can be found in the Chamber of Secrets, up six to No.5, SEGA's Monkey Ball Junior proves to be another under-performing handheld title for the company, falling four to No.9. After a slow start, 007 Nightfire climbs up to No.11 and Mario Kart drops six to No.16...NEXT![pagebreak] TOP 20 NINTENDO GAMEBOY COLOUR WEEK 16 YEAR 2003 ENDING 19TH APRIL LW TW TITLE PUBLISHER (1) 1 POKEMON CRYSTAL NINTENDO (2) 2 SHREK TDK (3) 3 POKEMON SILVER NINTENDO (5) 4 HARRY POTTER - CHAMBER OF SECRETS EA GAMES (7) 5 SUPER MARIO BROS NINTENDO (4) 6 POKEMON GOLD NINTENDO (6) 7 YU-GI-OH! Yup, the chart is as boring as ever. The Top Three remain stationary, Potter is up to No.4, the absolutely ancient Super Mario Bros DX is up two to No.5, Dragon Ball Z shoots up from No.17 to No.10 and the mega-super-dupa old Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror re-enters at No.20. Okay, maybe it was slightly more exciting than last week... Please post your comments below! Sources[Chart Track UK, Games Press, Amazon.co.uk]
