The developer behind The Chronicles of Riddick is, as reported on CV&G, currently looking for staff to work on a new project for next-generation consoles. The advertisement for new workers on its official site specifically states 'PS3' and 'XBOX 360' as the formats of choice, but when CV&G contacted Starbreeze' CEO, Johan Kristiansson, he informed it is a 'next generation project', leaving it open to a possible Nintendo Revolution version as well.

The speculation so far is that this may well be a sequel to Chronicles of Riddick since the new project will be published by Vivendi, and it was the same developer-publisher coupling that brought the successful movie tie-in to the world before, however this is pure speculation.
