Nintendo News | Midway, Unreal 3 Engine, All On Revolution!

By Adam Riley 27.01.2006

RevoGaming.net is reporting that Midway, the team behind Mortal Kombat, is set to bring a new First Person Shooter to all three next generation consoles, Revolution included. A job opening on the CreativeHeads website mentions how the proposed game will utilise the Unreal 3 game engine. Below is what is written on the site:

"Midway-Studios Austin has exciting opportunities for Level Layout Designers to apply their specialized skills on a high profile, next-generation first-person shooter using the Unreal 3 engine.

You will be instrumental in visualizing game levels, and working under the direction of the Lead Level Designer. You will work within a level strike team, with a scripter, an audio implementer, and environment artists, to turn your dream into a reality."

With this coming to all three platforms, and Nintendo's system constantly mentioned as not being as powerful as the XBOX 360 and PS3, how well will the product turn out on the platform? And will the new control technique be fully implemented?

Time will tell, so stick with C3 for more updates...
