The game was originally due for a launch in time for Christmas 2005, but has since been subject to a number of delays. Nintendo have always maintained that this will be a GameCube game, but we are starting to wonder if they are pulling our collective legs. Recent speculation has suggested a GameCube launch along with a Revolution title soon afterwards, or even both simultaneously.
In a recent interview with SpikeTV, Fils-Aime has seemingly confirmed that the title will hit shelves in the USA in 'Fall' 2006 (Autumn in proper English). He did stress that it would still be a GameCube title, but Nintendo often say one thing and do another. This opens it up as a perfect launch title for the Revolution. So, get salivating away at the prospect of waving about your Revolution controller as you control Link's sword in battle. All speculation, but the Revolution rumblings are coming from somewhere. Whatever the case, E3 will have the answers in May.
