Quick News - Lucky US gamers can pick up a free Nintendo DS Rumble Pak, which slots into the GBA port, when buying Metroid Prime Hunters from now until stock runs out, according to IGN.

Nothing similar has been confirmed for Europe.

I bet we get absolutely nothing. Not to worry though, as I have Metroid Prime Pinball with the rumble pack, and it's...a bit crap, to be nice.

I've recently got Mario&Luigi Partners in Time, doesn't that game use the rumble pak too?

It does, yeah. It's not too great, though. Princess Peach uses the vibrations too...Smilie

I wouldn't get it either way, too afraid the DS will rumble out of my hands. Also, what about battery life? Does the rumble pak drain the battery much?

I was never keen on the rumble pack for two reasons. First being battery power and the second being siple portability. Not that easy to play a game whilst moving when the console is rumbling away.

It's more a buzz pack than a rumble pack - it's nowhere near powerful enough to rumble out of your hands. I don't think it's too harsh on battery power, either.

Yeah, I've also heard that if you take the lowest setting rumble from Lylat Wars, this is about the strength of the DS Rumble, except it's MUCH noisier...
