E3 2006 Video | Call of Duty 3 on Nintendo Wii

Posted by By (jb) 36 Number of reads 37553

As recently speculated, Activision have announced that the war epic series, Call of Duty, will be heading to all next(new)generation systems along with releasing a snazzy new trailer..

The third insallment of Call of Duty brings players even closer to the combat through the eyes of four Allied soldiers during the Normandy Breakout. The title is in development by Treyarch for Wii, PS3 and Xbox360 for a 2006 release.

Revolution/Wii confirmation comes toward the end of the trailer.

Awesome. Its looking good.

Working like a fiend isn't very fun... and surprisingly isn't very fiendish either.

i was going to write about this in my E3 post, but im not too excited about it anyway. Still good to hear the support for the Wii though

Wasn't Tony Hawk also confirmed, I think that one is from Activison too?

That's the same pre-renderedness that they used in the ads that got pulled. I swear it's not real-time and it won't play very much like that.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

CO2 looks pretty fucking amazing as it is...

I don't see COD3 doing alot more to improve on graphics wise.

However, COD2 was deffinatly one of the most immersive WWII FPS that I've played.

Can't wait for the Revolution and PC version.

Brilliant, the CoD series is one of my favourites and the thought of it with the Wii control is sublime.

Hurrah!
Im going to have a blast.

I loved CoD2 for PC.

It's kinda obvious it is, it's just a promo trailer.

It says 'Nintendo Revolution' at the end, hehe.

Anyways, good news, hope they take advantage of the controller and all that jazz!

I just completed pokemon yellow! 151 pokemon seen and caught.
Surely that's worth a star?

It reminds me a little of the MGS4 trailer.

I actually wish that someone would start a new World War so that they'd have something else to make a game about...

Merlin's beard!!! That looks so friggin magnificent! It looks so intense and all that! It should be really good using a Wii controller for this. You'll feel like you're actually there!

Cubed3 Member

Why is it people like these games? We have the CoD2 demo on our 360 and it's so unbelievably crap....it just *feels* cheap. You know when you get that cheap vibe from a game...It really was poor.

Cubed3 Member

Think people are just happy to se games announced for the Wii, plus we get to see how FPS do on the controller.

demo means nothing, the actual game is pretty fucking brilliant in some levels, and ever so immersive.

Hopefully so, with some neat rumbles and cool control systems - hopefully... we'll probably realistically get a standard port on a normal/shell controller Smilie
