...But two exclusive FFXIII games for the PS3 Smilie Still, FF CC remains a Nintendo exclusive, and it would seem the DQ spin-offs could become exclusives as well.

When I used to own both a Nintendo GameCube and Sony PlayStation 2, I particularly liked the new diversion that Square Enix had gone with FF CC and when I think about it now, FF CC is the foremost reason why I dislike FFX-2, FFXI and the new FFXII. Square Enix are giving us the usual story wrapped in different characters. Take XII for example; set in the FF Tactics world; not something that is making me turn my head for sure.

Final Fantasy III, coming out for Nintendo DS, gives that FF CC charm that I love about Final Fantasy right now and will be a key selling point for Nintendo fans who enjoyed the multiplayer fiasco on Nintendo GameCube. I'm sure with the rather gimmick-like Game Boy Advance to GameCube link-up required to play FF CC that Square Enix will give this sort of connectivity stunt a miss.

Final Fantasy VI is a definite game for the Game Boy Advance I won't miss, since it is my overall favourite in the series, and not to mention a late 2006 release of Children of Mana too; things are just about to get hot in my opinion.

Great news coverage, Adam.

One of them looks to be a spin-off fighting game.

Fantastic stuff.

PS3 controller has a motion sensor...just saw it live on web...hate to say it but I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!! SONY YOU'RE A BUNCH OF BASTARDS !!!

Yawn...guess no one bothered to stay up for the PS3 conference...all I can say is that I'm disgusted...disgusted by the absolute crap on show, and the absolute guilt-free and smug way Kutaragi unveiled the "little-secret" of the controller...it does seem like an afterthought though...like, something they thought of 5 mins before the show...

But Sony is goin down...the PS3 is a hugely unimpressive overpriced piece of crap imo...it cannot succeed, it just cannot, i can't see it succeed, i know casual gamers have brains made of mushy peas, but they still wouldn't buy it...

Inkredible_Hunk I was extremely upset also about Sony's Little secret. But upon reading Ign acticle on this subject brings up some good points. The technology in both of the controllers (PS3 and Wii) are different. The Wii's technology is superior in my eyes. Still in all, Sony is a huge copy cat.

I'm starting to really dislike Sony...come on, $500 (US) dollars for a console...

Jonacell, the reason Sony price it that high because, and I quote, "The PS3 is NOT just a gaming machine, it is a multimedia supercomputer that plays games." So not only are they very cocky, they're also greedy as hell Smilie I already knew they were gonna rip the Wiimote off, posted it yesterday somewhere else...
And I'm not too excited about the FF:CC games coming to Nintendo, unless it are "standard" RPG's in the FF:CC universe, or they've focused a lot more on a single player playing the game, instead of focusing on several players playing it.

Back to topic:
I hope Crystal Chronicles will become a unique brand like FF - right now I was disappointed because no FF on Wii, but if Square/E continues CC there is a chance to get a wonderful series done on Wii, almost like FF on PS.

Is someone there who knows what Dragon Quest the new one for Wii is going to be? What about the new Dragon Quest currently being sold on PS2?

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

to be fair we have 2 games at launch: one more than in the entire gamecube's lifespan.

FF:CC struggled on the GC. Hopefully the Wii will be different. Theres a lot of support there...and its nice to see compared to the last 2 e3's for a Ninty home console.
