E3 2006 Screens | Trauma Centre: Second Opinion

By Mike Mason 10.05.2006 12

Trauma Centre, the operation game for Nintendo DS (which scored 8/10 on this very site), has long been rumoured to appear on Nintendo's Wii. These screenshots have surfaced, though there is no information as of yet. 1Up did a feature on a hypothetical Trauma Centre Wii a while ago, and so it is thought that there is a possibility of a DS/Wii link-up mode in it. Until we learn more details, enjoy these screenshots!

Awesome stuff Mr. Mason, thanks for adding these up - looking pretty cool Smilie

Nice of Nintendo to push their DS franchises onto the Wii.

Indeed, it looks fantastic. Really looking forward to it!

Apologies to anybody who got confused by the screens - the thumbnails somehow got muddled up. They should be all alright, now.

this looks like it will be really good.

it was difficult on the ds so im guessing this will be even more difficult...

Awesoooome! I haven't get the DS one yet, but I'm definately planning to. I'm liking the very odd, and slightly surreal style to it. Looks brilliant

Brilliant news. The game may be so difficult it makes me want to hurt people, but a Wii version is very welcome indeed. Smilie

Trying to think of a witty signature after 'Hacker-gate'...

Better not play this after Red Steel...

Is this the confermation then? Or is it still possible those screens could be hoaxes? You didn't seem so sure writing the news!

But still, really great looking Manga art there, I might look into this if I like the DS version!!

When I passed on the news of this I really was in two minds, as they look like possible photoshop efforts!

But, the game's on the show floor, so it's a reality and looking better than ever. Slicing and dicing will never have been more fun! Smilie

Doesn't seem to be playable, though, unfortunately...unless it's behind closed doors...

From what i can see of the screenshots, the manga type drawing style has been altered from the DS, making Dr.Stiles look older. Could this be the sequal or a port of the same story?

I think it's a sequel. However, it could also be a re-telling of the story with a different angle, with it being called 'second opinion'. The new character design is excellent, nicely refined the old ones.
