When we saw the Nintendo Wii controller for the first time, we instantly thought 'gun'. Perhaps not the most mentally stable ideas to come to mind so quickly, but to us it was obvious. Nintendo seem to be thinking in the same way, and are showing off a Nintendo Wii Lightgun at E3 2006.
Needless to say it will be used in various shooting games, with Duck Hunt said to be on display using it at E3 2006. We'll try and bring you some more details on this device and any games that use it very soon. Stay tuned, folks!

That is awesome, but it seems to me that when using the gun you'll only be able to reach the trigger and analogue stick, no buttons are accessable that I can see.

If you hold the front barrel as well, you could press all the buttons on the remote.
