Quick News - IGN is reporting that Nintendo has announced Animal Crossing has not only shipped more than 3 million units in Japan alone, but will have an animated movie based on it released in December 2006. Jouji Shimura (Master Keaton & Shin Angyo Onshi is directing and a Western release currently unconfirmed.

I really think Nintendo should make Anime series'/movies more often, Anime would suit titles like Metroid so well!!!

I think the story will somehow go like this, it starts out just a normal day in Animal Crossing World, the main character has a few buds over, one from Japan, one from Germany & one from Austrailia, when they find out that Tom Nook has gone missing, & that horrible disappearances have been happening with the villagers, they decide to buy some Master swords & Arwings & head out on an adventure. When they finally reach the Master Base, hidden deep within the mountains, they discover that Tom Nook was the one behind all this treachary all along, he captures & imprisons themm luckily, the Austrailian dude has the blue tooth keys to his Nintendog on him, so with a little push of a button, his little Mario cap wearing pal comes all the way from Auzzie to crash through the wall & help them, but there's another twist, you see, when they go upstairs trying to escape, the Jap notices some flashing lights coming from a room, they check it out, & see Tom Nook being brainwashed, & he looks in serious pain, quick Anime fighing scene full with blood & spilling guts follow, but this will be cut for the censored Western release, they then realise that it was Gulliver all along, sending sound waves accidentally from his ship, they all have a good cry & a reunion, & then we see a random Anime girl with long flowing hair crying happy tears on a cliff with a sunset in the background, then the credits come on, with a black screen, & corny Japanese music.
So yeah.

Electroplankton could be about some deadly sea plankton that at first make a lovly musical sound and glow in the sea but then they start sinking ships and slowly start breeding up streams detroying all water supplies! DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN!!

I sure as hel hope that the new Nintendo animation studio is Anime & not CG, I think I would much rather have an Anime Zelda than a CG Zelda...
