We got a CD stuffed full of lovely images from Nintendo a couple of days after E3 ended and in all honesty we totally forgot about it. That was until we heard news of the DS Lite being confirmed for a European launch on June 23rd along with a super-sleek black version.

I dunno about you guys, but if anything those pictures would put me off buying a DSlite...

I wonder if half the people modeling it actually know what it is?

lol, nah doub't it would put people off it they look kinda sily but I don't think anyone will sitting analysing them in the shop. It's better than mario jumping out of the screen with with princess peach being captured by bowser or somthin Smilie

Nah, they know that people who're into Nintendo are gonna buy the thing however they advertise it. These pics'll just appeal to the wannabe Sloaners too.

I reckon those are just DS cases with the dual screens ripped out - inside's a mirror and a tub of foundationSmilie

I suppose the approach of having the DS Lite as a 'fashion accessory' might catch on with some people... after all, thats why a lot of people bought iPods...

In my oppinon, the best adverts are either 1)Honda adverts or 2)ones which intentionally make you laugh.

These are neither.

Propper advertising campaign for DSlite should be a fat bloke playing on the DS lite, and a punch line which draws cheeky comparisions between the two.
