And i dont know if you noticed but those traines are from Hoenn the same ones that are in Ruby/Saphire so that migh suggest that this game is gonna be and RPG similiar to the GBA games!!!!

Sorry, but those trainers weren't from Hoenn... They were from Fire Red/Leaf Green... aka Kanto.

Hmmm. Pokemon, Pokemon. The first game was good, but I haven't partaken since Yellow and Stadium on the '64. I got so bored

The trailer looks interesting, but they could make it so much more engaging. The pokemon should cirle each other in the arena, breathing and wheezing as they get tired and stare out their opponent. They should interact while the player makes their decision, perhaps throwing harmless-but-entertaining warning shots at their opposite number. The arenas need to be fully interactive and engaging. It's good to see the trainers watching and ordering their 'mon - hopefully they'll react to what happens too.

I'm sure Nintendo could successfully change the gameplay dynamic, but I don't see it happening. They really do need to pimp up the formula though. Giving the critters a shiny coat of new-gen 3D is a piece of piss. This trailer looks like a start, but they need to keep pushing on

Nintendo couldn't change the gameplay cuz it's not developed by Nintendo itself...

I've enjoyed every one of the pokemon games I have, even colosseum(a lot less though), and I hope they remain the same, but still get some things changed. It's time for a fresh new start on the Wii!

Well if that's in-game then *drooooools*. That's definately WAY above Mario Galaxy in quality... So far above it's not even funny...

Wonder if the wiimote will be used maby to throw pokeballs or somthin to make it completly diffrent from the past console games.

Hit your pokemon to wake it up... wave to distract other pokemon... quite a few possibilities.

Maybe some sort of Nintendogs like interaction night be in order. I wouldnt put is past Ninty to do something of the sort.

I wish the Turn based fighting would be slightly faster pace though.

I know, it feels like such a waste of the DS's power.

Well, if you would have looked at other screens you would see there's 3D in there as well... But only in the overworld. The battles are still sprite-based(as far as I've seen)

I don;t want them to change from being sprite based, they just need to make the sprites decent... If you tackle someone you don't just nude to the right slightly... If they ever change it into proper battles I'd prefer them to do it on a console.

Yeah but...come on! It's been the exct same since the original GBC games! I really hope the zig zag alking is fixed..feels sooooo dated.
I hope theres some decent touch screen elements there to help make the gameplay fresh and i guess theres also the online mode finaly in a pokemon game.

God yeah, it feels awful. Surely they'll have nice proper movement this time.
