Nintendo Rumour | More Smash Bros. Revealed?

Well the cel-shaded link makes sense, and ice-climbers and Mr Game and Watch were pretty unpopular. Wouldn't be too surprised if this proved true.

RIDLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm reckoning on it being true too, I don't tend to report rumours unless they seem plausible. I imagined that's what would happen with cel-shaded Link - I also anticipated Ridley, but not Bowser Junior. I'll be VERY disappointed if Ice Climbers and G&W go though, as I love both those characters.

G&W is never even touched by me. I did like ice climers, loved their winning music!

I wouldn't want Bowser junior.

Wasn't it said by the creator-type person that there would be LESS characters than before?

EDIT: You know, I can't find where on earth I read that, so I could be wrong... I hope Ice Climbers are still there though!

All sound like good choices to me, Ice Climbers and GW were my least favourite characters for sure and everyone loves Ridley!

15, I can't even think of 15 new characters I'd want in let alone 15 new 3rd party characters!

15 new characters, a FEW of which will be third parties. So we've got Snake, I'd bet on Sonic, Megaman and one or two others.

Ah right, blonde moment. Yeah, snake Sonic and a few others. Viewtiful Joe? maybe?

I think most of us were expecting Ridley to be in the game, but none of us thought of Bowser Jr. Providing he's not a Bowser clone (which I doubt he will be) he should be fun to use and beat up on. I was hoping Cel-Link would be in there. I'm a bit disappointed that Ice Climbers and Game and Watch are being removed. But, of course, these are just rumours.

I reckon one from each company. Konami have Snake, SEGA have Sonic, Capcom with Viewtiful Joe or Mega Man (I think the latter is more likely)...Square Enix with somebody like Cloud?

Fuck... Please no... if they do this I will never forgive them! I can understand putting in Bowser JR. & Ridley, but TAKING OUT YOUNG LINK, Mr GAME & WATCH & ICE CLIMBERS!!!

No!! This will not do!! I'm glad it's just a rumour, it had BETTER not be true!! Ice Climbers are my bro's special character, & he's the 2nd best in Cornwall at SSBM!! Mr Game & Watch CAN'T be dumped, he was the first Nintendo character (or at least one of them) Ice Climbers represent a whole franchise, when they could just take out someone like Falco, as Fox is already in there, but Ice Climbers & MR G&W have unique fighting styles, when they could just take out a clone.

& Young Link, I'm fine with that, as long as his OOT version is an alternate costume...

Its a shame they didn't keep all the originals and just add, add, add! Ice climbers weren't too bad! But then Pit will rule all in SSBB, so its all good ne way!

As for taking out Mr Game and Watch...he's a funny character! (especially with people who haven't played the game before and have had a few drinks: "He's firing BACON- ARRGHH!!"). He should be left in

Hmm, the Ice Climbers and MR. Game & Watch were both pretty un-popular, so I wouldn't be that surprised if they were removed. Also, 40 characters sounds about right as does 15 new characters. Hmm, it's just a rumor currently, but I wouldn't be that surprised if it turns out to be true.

will you actually not get this game if your characters from the old game are no longer there? your loss. Im sure the game will make up for it in many other ways.

He was my 3rd favorite character. He was so awesome to use with his powerful attacks only when you truly knew how to use them. He was like a ninja. Hard to see, but really quick.

Good to hear about cel-link and ridley but they shouldn't remove game and watch, he was the first ninty mascot!
