Nintendo News | Mercury Coming to Wii

A[/size][/b]n updated release list has emerged from publisher Ignition Entertainment that shows a snippet of its line-up of game releases for the end of the year. Just check out the list below:
- Metal Slug Antology (PSP) - November
- Metal Slug Anthology (Wii) - November
- Mercury Meltdown (PS2) - November
- Mercury Meltdown (Wii) - November
- Mercury Meltdown Remix (PS2) - Q4 2006
- Mercury Type R (Wii) - Q4 2006
- KoFMI 2.5 (XBOX 360) - Q4 2006
What is interesting to note is that Metal Slug Anthology has already been confirmed as a launch title, which means that since this is supposedly a European release list it all but confirms November as the month of release for the Wii in this region. Also, Mercury was previously a Sony exclusive, yet now two versions of the game are heading to Nintendo platforms as the support begins to mount up even more.
Currently this list is classed as 'unconfirmed', but as soon as we get official confirmation we will let you know.

Here is a description found for the PSP version, it should answer your question.
Maneuver colorful orbs of liquid mercury by tilting them through 3-D mazes and moving them in a particular direction around infinite obstacles. It seems simple, but you must take advantage of the orbs while they're still in a viscous state and try not to spill too much of the liquid.
The thing that I don't understand is why there are two Mercury games for the Wii coming out in the last quarter. What are the differences between the games.
I didn't nope

Wow!! o.0 I guessed right!!
I never knew you were ACTUALLY a blob of liquid mercury. o.0
I ALSO thought that a company who make games for PSP wouldn't be clever enough to know that Mercury is liquid at room temprature, maybe they used to have no idea why they chose a blob, but after they decided to make it for Wii, they suddenly got a brainstorm of cleverness & FINALLY UNDERSTOOD
