Nintendo News | Stylish DS Cases Hit Japan

By Jorge Ba-oh 28.06.2006 15

With the DS Lite sending waves of sales success to its competitors in Japan, accessories have hit the market in a storm. Among the various DS Lite goodies are a slick looking set of protective covers for your portable buddy.

Although the DS is a strong piece of hardware, there's nothing better than keeping it wrapped up safely on the move.

A series of Harmony cases boast unique designs for the region, with various natural and floral designs in a soft, padded fabric.

Thanks to GoNintendo for the tip.

Those designs look sweet, especially the black ones!

Come with and without an applicator, and for different levels of 'flow'.

Wish you hadn't asked? Smilie

Even I didn't know that! Urgh, I'd hate having to use them...how would you sit down?

Comfort over practicality in that area most definitely! (Plus, pads have wings, wheeeeeee!)

Aww, I like the one with fishies!

A move to appeal to the female gamers I'm sure...

Well at the risk of being berated by people whom wish to talk about tampons and they packaging, i'm goin gto get back to the real point of this topic. The cases are vile, i think they are too busy but i suppose you can tell they are japanese. I hope we get a nice hard shell to protect it over here in Blighty.

Bleep bleep blork bleep

I'd prefer more of just a sleave to go in my suit pocket. At the moment my case isn't very 'pocket friendly' and i don't wanna scratch my DSL up.

Still, the pics above look quite cool, but not the sort of thing i'd get out at Cafe Nero while enjoying a Latte and MKDS Wifi game!
